@10:36Absolutely wonderful. The use of an actor as the raven was a welcome twist.

@05:18Also like the emptiness of the space which enhances the echo.

@01:25This is absolutely beautiful. Black and white film is so classic and really puts focus on the story and characters rather than any extras. Wonderful job!!

@09:40Cool concept. I'm sure everyone has had to study Po at some point in their life, so I suppose everyone can relate to it to some degree.

My only quandary was with the camera work. It seemed a little amateurish. Good movie, though.

I absolutely love this adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe's 19th century work. The Raven by ~Rolly44 has breathed life back into the classic of the same name and adapted it for today's more active viewing audience. You'll come away from this film with a new appreciation for late 1800's literature. The editing and shots are all very well thought out and I particularly like the casting for "the raven" himself. Use of heavy shadows and minimalistic set-dressing is quite effective in portraying the lonely descent of madness of our lovelorn narrator. Overall a fantastically done film!
